I was recently asked to find out information on web 2.0.  Here’s what i found out about web 2.0 in a nutshell.

With our ever changing and demanding lives, people have developed a need  to communicate with each other to find information quickly. one thing we can use is the internet. now with our lives the way they are the internet as we know it isn’t keeping up with what people are wanting now a days. So we need something that will help us browse for what we are looking for faster, and with more ease, effectiveness, and way less frustration. So we use things like Google, I-tunes, yahoo, e-Bay, overstock, etc., to find what we are looking for faster. ”Web 2.0″ is not just a metaphor anymore its becoming a real standard for someone who need information quickly. “Web 2.0″ an upgraded version in a since compared to the regular internet. Hints the name “web 2.0″.  As a people of course we will eventually find a need to make ”web 2.0″ better so I’m sure in the future we will have ”web 3.0″.  The statistics of using web 2.0 criteria on your website will essentially generate you or your website more hits and essentially generate more money.

where I was able to find my information.

    Hmmmm…Web 3.0

Wow, can you imagine what will be common practice in ten years? Imagine those principles used in our appliances like our refrigerators etc. Your Web enabled refrigerator might know what your buying and offer new products for you to purchase on the spot…and all that based on your buying trends. Really cool to think about.

  1. Very good point about people wanting more spped in refinning searches and for it to be easier to do. That is true people are expecting and wanting to be able to weed out information that is not wanted from the information that they are interested in, and they want to get it faster than ever. They want to be able to get tonights news in the morning.

I know I am super late on this comment, but I would probably also say that WEB 2.0 is not only faster, but it seems to be a little safer to. This would be dues to the fact that, for example, when you make a download the stream becomes its own individual server rather than having a strong central base.
