I heard about a book written by David Allen called Getting Things Done. His book teaches one how to de-stress their work life in order to produce more productivity. The information i absorbed after hearing from his promo was very interesting. He compares his Getting Things Done material to martial arts, the martial arts deals with surprise and how to over come it through relaxed decision making. David Allen touches on points such as the difference between multitasking and rapid focusing. He describes multitasking like a person driving home and not remembering the time in between point “a” and “b”, and rapid focusing is the ability to focus rapidly and relaxed on many situations at one time and to be flexible with every situation. I really found those views really interesting and eye opening. Microsoft, Sony, Oracle, and many other major companies have used his skills in there companies to produce more productivity. At some point i will have to order this book to really grasp everything.
“GettingThingsDone” better isnt it?
