Oh yea i also found this Twitterrific app which seems to be another part of Twitter. you use your same login information as on Twitter and you can even take a picture with your phone and post it right along with your post all at once from your phone.

I have been trying to get family and friends to try this out with me to get a better feel how effective it will work with me. I think you need that kind of group to get this working right unless you just want to be updated what some stranger is doing around the world. Which sometimes really isn't all that bad but we do want our tools to be helpful to use. By the way i am following you on Twitter. Have you looked into the GPS features, i found them to be very cool and interesting, now there is another tool for the wife to keep tabs on us. LOL
Lets get this CoP going before it is to late.

I like the idea of personalizing your blogs with them, although I'm not sure people would love to see my smiling face talking to them all the time. With video, you can surely catch sarcasm and other personality traits you can't pick up by just reading. I think there pros and cons to video blogging. If you are not very organized, it's more than likely show easier in the vodcast than a well structured write-up.

Podcasting and Videocasting are great aren't they..!! Now if you get a Podcast of a class your are taking its like you got all your notes right there, all you have to do is rewind or play again if there was something you missed. And also being able to see someone you are learning from that is half way around the world. I think that these will not only be around in the future but they are going to get more and more advanced.

After reading other blogs and comments, it seems like we are all frustrated with the ammount of "stuff" we get when we're searching on a topic. It's going to be up to us to change that. Just think, we're a small percentage of the population. If all of us are frustrated, you know many others are too.

I believe that many of us have already engaged in informal CoPs in our entire life without really knowing it. I think brainstorming is one form of doing so. It is a great way to increase collective intelligence.

Responding to your comment. If anything you should start your own CoP, all it takes is a small group of people that want to learn and teach others about any information involving your interest. Who knows maybe i just might be interested in getting involved in it. Like I mentioned when we first started this quarter "I just really love to learn, that is why I am here".
